Good Morning Mix: Charlotte de Witte makes Tomorrowland history as first woman and techno artist to close mainstage

There had never been a woman or techno-only artist commissioned with the final daily slot atop Tomorrowland‘s mainstage. That was until Tomorrowland’s third weekend at the end of July, when it crossed off both of those to-do items simultaneously by recruiting Charlotte de Witte. Just ahead of her 30th birthday, Charlotte de Witte brought her own KNTXT imprint to the festival’s Atmosphere stage for a complete label takeover during its first weekend. And two weeks later, she made her way back to Boom for a historic moment during the first Tomorrowland in three years.

As if there was any doubt to begin with, Charlotte de Witte proved why she was the perfect candidate to fill both of those long overdue categories on Tomorrowland’s mainstage. Opening with an unreleased ID—potentially credited to herself—Charlotte de Witte’s hour-long downpour of techno includes 14 total tracks, including Raito’s “I Feel A Storm” remix,” her co-remix of “The Age Of Love“—which just turned a year old—with her fiancé Enrico Sangiuliano, Alignment’s “Attack,” and much more.

Although there’s unfortunately no official upload at the time of writing, there is a fan upload on YouTube. Watch Charlotte de Witte join Tomorrowland’s record books below and relive more Tomorrowland 2022 sets here.
